Images and color data

When you choose, drag, paste, or photograph an image, the browser decodes it locally and draws it to local canvas memory. Pixel sampling, color conversion, color-name matching, recent-color history, and dominant-palette extraction all happen on your device.

Images and results are not uploaded, stored in a database, attached to an account, or retained after you close or reload the page. Recent colors exist only in the current page's memory.

Cookie-free analytics

ColorToolset may use Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregate page performance and traffic measurement, and GoatCounter for four anonymous tool events: image selected, pixel picked, value copied, and palette copied. These services are configured without advertising trackers or analytics cookies.

No analytics event contains an image, filename, file metadata, pixel coordinate, color value, clipboard contents, or other image-related information. Blocking either analytics service does not affect the color picker.

Third-party requests

The application itself has no image API, storage service, account system, or paid data service. On the public site, the only optional third-party requests are the delayed analytics scripts described above. They load after the page is ready and are not required for the tool to work.
